Spend a day playing with color and discovering the pleasure of paper marbling. This relaxed, hands-on workshop welcomes anyone who would like to try the process and create a collection of their own marbled papers.
Everything will be prepared and ready when you arrive. Through short demonstrations and individual guidance, students will explore five patterns: Turkish Stone, Zebra, Nonpareil, Peacock, and Bouquet. Most of the day is spent at the trays, learning each sequence and practicing the pull with a limited palette.
The emphasis is on an enjoyable creative experience, with plenty of help along the way. No previous marbling experience is necessary.

Please note, students seeking the technical knowledge and skills to continue marbling independently should instead enroll in Intro to Marbling with Acrylics.
